I Want to Collect Swarms!

Amateur Beekeepers Australia uses a system called Swarmed both for registering as a swarm collector and for reporting swarms. You can find out more at the ABA website here

Canberra Region Beekeepers has heard from our members and members of the public that you would also like us to host our own list of swarm collectors. We're working on it! If you're a beekeeper who would like to be listed on this site for members of the public to contact if they have a swarm, please complete the registration form below.

We've also been asked to provide a place for people collecting more swarms than they need to find homes for them, and for beeks looking for bees to connect with collectors. We'll be building that, too.

I'd like to register as a Canberra Region Bee Swarm Collector

Note: this registration form is for listing on the Canberra Region Beekeepers website as a local swarm collector. It will not register you on the Amateur Beekeepers Australia Swarmed system.

Canberra Region Beekeepers provides a swarm collector list as an information service only. We take no responsibility for swarm collection services performed by listed members. We strongly encourage any members collecting swarms to ensure they have the appropriate insurance. This can be obtained through Amateur Beekeepers Australia at no cost to registered members.

By submitting this form you agree to have your name and preferred contact details (as selected below) listed on the swarm collector portion of the Canberra Region Beekeepers website.
