About the event

We're continuing our series of Winter workshops in lieu of apiary days while it's too cold to open our hives.


This month we will be making candles and lip balm.


We'll discuss, demonstrate and practice:

  • preparing (rendering) wax from your hives

  • different methods to make candles

    • moulds
